the internet name i use is velvet, which comes from the second part of red velvet, one of the first k-pop groups i got into. they hold a very dear place in my heart. i thought “velvet” would be a cute internet name, and i love the nicknames that come from it (vel, velvie, or even velveeta ✧). i made this name in late 2023, straight from the heart ♡

my real-life name is dajeong (다정), which means kindness and affection. i try to live up to my name and be kind to everyone while showing affection to the people i love. my friends call me jeongie, which i find so cute and endearing!

my twitter username is jeongie1004. “jeongie” is a nickname of my real name, and 1004 comes from an ep by one of my favorite korean soloists, ban seolhee, called “전사의 젼학변호는 1004 번인가요?”.

my discord username is revejungx. “reve” comes from red velvet’s fandom name, reveluv, and “jung” comes from wjsn’s fandom name, ujung. i combined them into revejung (the x is just decoration!).

about my age 🩷

i was born on 28/06/2007, which makes me 18 years old (as of august 2025). my zodiac sign is cancer! i was born early in the morning (5–6 am), and i sometimes wonder if that’s why i’m such a morning person. i don’t care much for being “mature for my age,” i just want to flow through life in my own way.
