Credits & Use of Content

At the moment, when it comes to my projects, I only make use of content that is:

  • Entirely created by me,
  • Edited by me (using multiple references to achieve the final result), or
  • Public use / copyright-free (such as photography of objects, textiles, ribbons, lace, nature, food, or clothing).

When I use content not made by me, I make sure it falls under fair use or personal use. This includes cases where I edit the content or incorporate it into a new, original project. By doing this, I retain full rights to my own pieces.

I seek transparency and respect the work of others. When I use someone else’s work in its original integrity—and I am certain of its ownership—I credit them directly on the work itself rather than here on this page. I feel this is a more appropriate way to give proper credit.

If I have used your content and you would like credit, or if you feel copyright applies, please contact me. I will properly credit or remove the content where applicable. If I have edited the original piece or used it as a small part of something new (like a collage, layout, game, remix, or compilation), it is generally considered fair use.

Fair use is a legal doctrine allowing the use of copyrighted material under certain circumstances without explicit permission from the copyright holder. Please note: content that is only edited (like background removal, added details, or filters) or photography of objects, textiles, ribbons, lace, nature, food, or clothing falls under public use / copyright-free material and can be used by anyone under fair use or personal use. These do not hold the same copyright protections as original artwork, registered characters, or trademarked designs.

If a credit or removal request seems unfair, I will refuse it. Please understand that this policy is in place to maintain fairness for all creators and contributors.

I also refrain from demanding credits for my own content unless it is extremely unfair. Examples of this would be someone claiming ownership of:

  • My artwork drawn by me,
  • Photographs I took myself, or
  • Crafts I created from scratch (excluding items originally made by others, even if modified).

I welcome people using my work as reference or inspiration for new projects. After all, that is why I share some things publicly on the internet. If I feel uncomfortable with something being reposted, used elsewhere, or modified, I simply keep it private.

When sourcing content, I sometimes cannot give credits immediately because tracing original authorship can be difficult, especially on platforms like Pinterest, Tumblr, Google Images, We Heart It, or old archived websites. To avoid spreading misinformation or falsely attributing someone’s work, I only credit when I am fully certain of ownership.

A lot of the content I produce is made from scratch, but some is partially made or edited. I try to be as transparent as possible, and if you have questions about my process—how content was sourced or edited—I am happy to explain. My goal is to respect other artists while creating freely and responsibly.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Important Accessibility Tips

If the font size is hard to read on PC, zoom in and adjust your screen brightness. Personally, I find fonts smaller than 10px uncomfortable, so I often keep websites at 75% zoom.

I strive to make layouts compatible with all screen sizes, but image-heavy layouts may require viewing horizontally on mobile for optimal display.

Accessibility is important to me, but I prioritize making my site usable for myself first, then for others. Thank you for your patience.
